Bromsgrove District and Redditch Borough Councils are neighbouring authorities with big ambitions, but each has their own distinct aims, political priorities, customer needs, demographics and commitment to equality and diversity.

We are searching for a Chief Executive who is both energetic and compassionate, capable of engaging with a wide and diverse array of communities and stakeholders. Your ability to empower your talented workforce, support your political leadership, and guide and develop your senior management team will be critical to your success.
Most importantly, we need someone who holds the passion and humility to lead with clarity, purpose and enthusiasm for our councils as we continue to strive for the very best outcomes for those we serve on a daily basis.
Deputy Chief Executive (S151 Officer)
We are seeking a Deputy Chief Executive that holds the innate ability to empower and develop a diverse group of professionals for the greater good of our authorities. Holding responsibility for all financial, legal, democratic, customer services, digital and transformation services, you will arrive with an inherent ability to engage colleagues across all levels of our organisations; whilst also working intrinsically with our external colleagues across the districts/boroughs, and in a wider regional and national context.
